Transparent Pricing.
No Hidden Costs.

At dutchub, we keep finance simple and transparent: a fixed 15% commission, only on successful sales. We manage VAT, offer flexible risk-free payouts (LC-backed), and include returns and B2B orders at no extra cost—ensuring higher net revenue and stable cash flow for brands growing in Europe.

Monthly settlement reports include a clear breakdown of all deductions—VAT, platform fees, shipping, and commission—along with detailed sales data, payout summaries, and performance insights. This gives brands full financial transparency and control over their European operations.

Why this model works for your European expansion

In a complex landscape of marketplaces and logistics, pricing can be a pitfall. We make it simple: you retain full control over prices, we optimize the rest. No upfront costs, no lock-ins – only shared success. Our model is scalable: from startup to enterprise, with transparent reports and break-even happening down.

  • Full Price Control: You set the selling price; we apply it consistently across all channels.
  • Success-Based Commission: 15% on selling price ex. VAT – we only earn if you sell.
  • No Hidden Costs: Everything can be found in monthly reports; credits for surpluses.
  • VAT & Compliance Handled: You focus on products; we handle EU regulations.

Core Principles of Our Pricing Model

  • Fee Structure: Fixed 15% commission on selling price ex. VAT. No tiered or flat fees – purely success-driven.
  • Transparency: Monthly settlement reports with a breakdown of all deductions (VAT, platform fees, shipping, commission).
  • Flexibility: No minimum payouts, no long-term contracts. B2B orders follow the same structure, but without marketplace fees (so more favorable net).
  • Extra Costs: Unless brands overstock after month 1, there are no additional costs.

FAQ - Pricing & Costs

Q: What is the exact structure of your service fee (e.g., a fixed percentage of revenue, a flat-rate order, or a tiered model based on volume)? Are there extra costs for optional services like advanced forecasting?

A: We use a structure of 15% commission on the selling price excluding VAT. After that, other costs will all start from the selling price excluding VAT (-21% VAT, marketplace commission, shipping). Ultimately, there is a payout which is then deducted from the invoice amount; you end up with the net amount. This is usually favorable than the usual distributors; we only earn on the commission. If any amount remains open outside the invoice amount, we will credit it to you. There are no minimums, no additional costs arise, unless the brand sends more stock than our data indicates; then storage costs will be added after the first month.

Q: Is there a minimum payout threshold (e.g., €X per month) before a transfer takes place, or is it always made according to the agreed payment terms regardless of exchange rate risks?

A: There is no minimum payout; we pay within the agreed payment terms. The transfer costs are only real, as stated on the PI, whether in EUR or USD; there are no exchange rate or processing rates; you always get your money as stated on the PI.

Q: Can you provide an estimate of typical compliance costs? Are VAT refunds (e.g., for returns) immediately passed on?

A: We cover the VAT costs for the brand, so the brand doesn't have to worry or deal with obligations that they would have to handle themselves. (See also: "We handle all VAT compliance, filing, and remit payments for sales; so execute on your behalf across all EU markets.")

Q: Under what conditions do you recommend an LC, and what are the onboarding steps? Do you accept other payment methods?

A: We work with an LC or Sinosure, where you are always guaranteed by our bank that the invoice can always be paid by us; there is no write-off risk we work with. Costs, so the payout is made to the specified bank account number of brands. SEPA/IBAN is standard.

Q: How are return costs exactly deducted? Is there a cap on dispute-related costs? For B2B orders: separate cost structure?

A: For returns, we charge no costs to the brand; we ensure the product is checked. If the product is good, we will put it back on sale. If the product is defective or unsaleable, we will first consult the brand on how to resolve it. For B2B orders, we use the same commission and method of cost deductions (21% VAT, dutchub commission, shipping); there is no marketplace commission, which is much more favorable. (See also: "We manage compliance returns under EU law.")

Q: What documents are needed for KYC, and how long does verification take? How do you protect sensitive financial and trade data?

A: We work with standard KYC documents such as company documents, bank statements, and trade documentation. Verification usually takes a few business days. We protect all sensitive data with industry-standard encryption and secure data handling practices, ensuring full compliance with privacy regulations.
